Domaine des Roches

Ig? is a tiny village fifteen miles north of its famous neighbor, Pouilly-Fuiss?. Our friend Pierre Gobet continues to produce classic-styled white burgundy at his family estate, Domaine des Roches. As is traditional, all the fruit here is still hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed. When pressed whole-cluster, the juice bursts through the skins and extracts maximum aromas and material from the fruit. Their objective is to deliver an un-oaked wine that expresses the clean, flowery flavors of the noble Chardonnay grape. This wine continues to be a favorite selection, as well as a great value.
