"A
stunning discovery from the Costieres de Nimes by importer Robert Kacher, this
wine is virtually too good to be true." Robert Parker
Cabernet / Syrah Vin de Pays d'Oc
With nearly 80% Cabernet and 20%
Syrah, this is a wine of depth and class. Made in new and one-year old casks, this prestige bottling is
very rich in color with excellent texture.
Jammy fruit flavors of ripe plum and cassis mingle with classic Rhone
spices, and all of this enrobes its character and complexity.
2003 $13.99
"Another
noteworthy offering, the 2003 was aged completely in barrel. A classic
Medoc like bouquet of cedar, tobacco leaf, black currants and earth
jumps from the glass of this medium bodied offering. It possesses
excellent concentration and enough sweet fruit and glycerin to cover
the hard tannin." Robert parker, The Wine Advocate #156

Syrah / Grenache Vin de Pays d'Oc
2003 $9.99
"A blend of 45% Grenache,
40% Syrah and a touch of Mourvedre. Offers blueberry, blackberry and
cassis notes in an uncomplicated, exuberant style. This medium bodied
red displays good grip on the palate, fine purity as well as ripeness
and a slightly austere tannin in the finish." Robert Parker, The Wine
Advocate #153

"The medium deep ruby-colored 2002 Cuvee
Tradition (a blend of 52% Grenache and 48% Syrah) is a tank-fermented and aged
southern French fruit cocktail. It possesses good body along with abundant
quantities of ripe strawberry and black cherry fruit, pepper, and spice, and a
long, heady finish. It should drink well for 1-2 years." Robert Parker, The
Wine Advocate #147
Marsanne / Roussanne Vin de Pays d'Oc
2003 $9.99
"The excellent 2003 reveals an Alsace-like gout de petrol
character along with loads of licorice, flower, honeysuckle and fruit
notes. It possesses a fine texture, medium to full body, and a heady
finish." Robert Parker, The Wine Spectator

Cuvee R
Only 400 cases are produced each year
from 40 year old Riesling vines. Vinified in stainless steel, the wine delivers
spicy orchard fruit and mineral flavor with a rich palate and dry finish. This
is the last vintage for this cuvee, as the AOC authorities finally prevailed
upon the owners to uproot the illegally planted vines.

"The 2002 ?R? Vin de Table is 100% Riesling that has been
picked extremely ripe, and vinified dry. It is loaded with citrus oils and
honeyed grapefruit with apple overtones. Medium-bodied, and ripe, it would be a
treat to drink with a variety of Asian cuisines. Enjoy it over the next year."
