Drew Cider Brut Sur le Mer

Jason Drew’s first release of Cider is spectacular! Produced from a blend of Gravenstein, Philo Gold and Rhode Island Greening apples from their 60 year old dry farmed, certified organic orchard in Mendocino  planted at 1300 feet elevation, 3.3 miles from the ocean. The Cider is brewed in 80% stainless steel and 20% neutral oak barrels using wild yeast. Bright and tart apple fruit along with hints of stone fruit, yeast, and a distinct saline quality. Medium weight with great acidity and a crisp, dry finish, nice. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, only 140 cases were produced.
